Rebecca Minkoff S/S 2012

Rebecca Minkoff is one of my favorite fashion designers. She started off as a luxury handbag designer and eventually returned to her original love for apparel design. Her designs are playful with a subtle edge yet still classic and cool. Her Morning After Clutch is by far my favorite bag (I have this one but with gold hardware) and I can't wait to get my hands on another one of her designs. I came across her Spring/Summer 2012 lookbook on Shopbop last week and seriously died and went to heaven. So much neon and studs and gorgeousness! I love the Neon Pink Mini M.A.C. and the Neon Yellow Flirty (both shown in the fifth photo). They're so cute and definitely right on trend, but if I'm going to splurge I might have to go with a more classic color and design like the original Classic Morning After Bag. I guess we'll see though, I do love neon.

Alexa Chung for Madewell

It goes without saying that I'm a lover of all things J.Crew, especially their sister store Madewell. A little over a year ago, Alexa Chung came out with her line for Madewell and it was to die for. She is a "cookie cutter hipster" as she calls herself. Her Fall 2011 campaign recently came out and every piece from her collection is awesome. I love the way she mixes prints and patterns that I would never put together and makes them look so effortlessly cool. These are a few photos from the lookbook. More of her collection can be seen, and bought, at Madewell. My personal favorite pieces are the Fisherman Knit Sweater and the Cora Dotted Shirt (seen in the second photo). Must-haves.

FP Tribal Shop

I'm loving the new Tribal Shop lookbook from Free People. I love the ethnic prints of the clothing,  layering of jewelry, and the tribal paint all over the models. Kind of amazing.

Olivia Palermo for Tibi

Tibi launched their Spring 2011 campaign a little over a month ago featuring reality TV star Olivia Palermo and I think it’s awesome. Olivia Palermo is a street-style fashion icon so it was only fitting that she be featured in this campaign. She chose the outfits she wanted to wear for the shoot and styled them with her personal accessories. They photographed her in front of backdrops of NYC, London, Paris and Milan to show a sort of street chic “reality”. I love the whole concept behind the campaign and I think it turned out amazing. She looks absolutely gorgeous. Now if only I could afford anything from Tibi.

California Dreamin'

The New York spring weather has in no way been living up to my expectations. I need sun and warmth! I've been reading nonstop about the amazing weather they're having in L.A. and all I can say is I've been dreaming of California.  Music festival season is right around the corner and I am dying for the Planet Blue Coachella lookbook. I've always wanted to go to a music festival of this caliber but so far I haven't gotten the chance. Maybe next year. But for now I will live vicariously through these photos. I'm loving the denim cut-offs, flowy tops and long beaded necklaces.
