Top Knot

I rarely wear my hair up unless I'm just lounging around the house. I'm just not a fan of the ponytail. After watching countless Kardashian marathons over winter break, I've become obsessed with the top knot. I know I'm a little late on this one. Top knots were all over the runways last Spring and have been seen on just about every celebrity, but I can't help but feel that it's Kourtney's "thing". She prefers a perfectly polished look. I love it but I also love the undone, messy top knot as well. It's so easy and such a great alternative for everyday hairstyles.

Black and White

I've always felt like there's something so personal about black and white photographs. These are some photos I love; mostly portraits. You'll probably recognize people/celebrities in some of them. I just think there's something classic and beautiful about black & white photography. (P.S. How amazing is Julia Roberts' laugh? I feel like I can hear it through the photograph.)

Keri Russel's Humble Abode

Keri Russel, best known for her role in the hit television show Felicity, was featured in the June issue of Elle Decor. Her beautifully renovated Brooklyn brownstone gave me some serious home envy. I love how organic her home is. Wood everywhere and the neutral palette paired with tons of great textures creates such a cozy feeling. I love it. 

Celebrity Obsession: Kat Graham

My current celebrity obsession is singer/actress Kat Graham. She exploded onto the scene in 2009 as Bonnie Bennett in the CW hit show The Vampire Diaries, which I also have a serious obsession with, but she's been acting and performing since she was 8 years old. (I just found out that she was in The Parent Trap. Great movie.) Although I love her for her acting and music (check out "Sassy" and "I Want It All"), I especially love her for her fashion sense. Girl is fierce. She is bold and different and her style is insanely awesome. Kat Graham is fearless when it comes to fashion. 

Coachella

Coachella was this past weekend in California & it looked like so much fun. I need to get myself there someday. These are some of my favorite looks of the weekend.
