Room of the Week

I came across these photographs by Linda Bergroth on Bri Emery's blog DesignLoveFest and died a little. This home is so refreshing to me. That's the only word I could think of to describe it. All white floors and walls with tons of light and bright bold patterns and accents. What more could you ask for? It truly is a stunning space.

Fourth of July Treats

American Flag Cupcakes from Martha Stewart
I love all things festive for holidays, especially food. (I made Pumpkin and Ghost Sugar Cookies at Halloween, Santa Hat Brownies at Christmas, etc.) I'm one of those people that can't wait to get a little older and have a place of my own so I can entertain friends and host holiday parties at my house, and I'm always on the search for fun recipes for when that happens. So I was looking for Fourth of July dessert recipes for my family's barbecue and came across the most adorable and easy desserts that anyone can make. I am definitely making the American Flag Cupcakes this year. Here are a couple of other fun Fourth of July treats.
Patriotic Jello Shots from Saucy Pants

Chocolate Dipped Pretzel Sticks from Cupcakes & Cashmere

Red White & Blue Fruit Cups from Rachel Ray

Room of the Week

I love how organic and simple this room feels. The first thing that attracted me to this space was the exposed beams on the ceiling. I've always felt that they add a certain charm to a room. I also really like the contrast between the wood floors and the concrete. Again it adds such an organic feel to the room. The brightness factor was also a major plus for me. White walls with white molding with white curtains and tons of light filling the space. And lastly, the décor! As I said before its very simple and uncluttered. I love the three lanterns hanging above the dining room table and the mismatched chairs. Loves it!

Room of the Week

Remember a couple of months ago when I posted this bathroom. It was inspiration for my bathroom at home that we were planning on remodeling. Unfortunately that isn't happening anymore but a girl can still dream, right? Every time I see a gorgeous bathroom I think "...one day." I saw this bathroom and immediately fell in love. I think it's so luxurious but in such a subtle way. I think it has something to do with the never ending use of white. Everything looks perfect and so clean! The clawfoot tub is by far my favorite element in the room. I'm definitely storing this away in the inspiration files. Loves it.
