New Beginnings: Happy 2013!

Now that it's officially 2013, I've began to make a list of resolutions that I really want to follow through on. Some I've made in the past and never put any real effort into keeping but this year I really want to make a change in my life. I want to be happier and healthier and enjoy the little things more. These are my resolutions: 

1. Read all twenty books on the "20 Books to Read in Your 20's" list. 
2. Spend less. Save more. (This is something I constantly struggle with. Severe shopping addiction.)
3. Eat healthier and exercise more. (Another thing I struggle with.)
4. Be more spontaneous.
5. Take a trip.
6. Take more photos, & organize them.
7. Spend more quality time with my family and friends.
8. Go on more dates with the bf. 
9. Worry less. Live, love & laugh more. 
10. Make this blog into what I've always dreamed it to be... starting NOW.

Oh, Monday.

I remember when I was young and I used to be excited for school. Weird, I know. But I couldn't wait to go back and see my friends and hang out. I've never felt like that in college. Today is the first Monday in over a month that I'm actually dreading. Maybe it's because I truly don't enjoy what I'm doing, but I had forgotten what it felt like to wish for Friday to come sooner. So much for Resolution #3 (Be more optimistic.) I had such an amazing winter break with my boyfriend. I really didn't want it to end. But now it's back to reality. Praying my workload doesn't kill me this semester. Wish me luck!

Resolution #2

Another one of my resolutions is to take more photos, especially for my blog, but also for myself. I used to be that person that always had her camera with her but last year I was the opposite. I got pretty lazy. It's just that my camera is so heavy! So i stopped carrying it with me all of the time and as a result forgot a lot of what I learned in my photography class and took a lot less photos than before. I'm going to try to brush up on my skills as soon as possible and start carrying my DSLR with me.

Resolution #1

I made a list of resolutions for 2012 and one of them is to eat healthier. Granted this isn't the healthiest meal in the world but you have to start somewhere, right? And I am a very unhealthy eater. Cheeseburgers, fries, pasta, etc. So I'll keep the fries and opt for a sandwich instead of a burger. Hopefully I can make this work. I've been told old habits die hard.
