Farewell Oprah

"You get in life what you have the  courage to ask for." Yesterday afternoon was Oprah's last episode ever. It was such a wonderful and inspirational goodbye from her. I always wanted to go see her in Chicago with my mother and grandma but we never got a chance to. (Honestly I was a little bit upset I wasn't invited on her "Favorite Things" episode this year with the audience full of her biggest fans. I am her biggest fan!) This last season went by so fast! I can't believe it's really over. I don't know what I'm going to do at 4 o'clock now. My daily routine is going to have a giant gaping hole in it now. I'm going to miss watching her so much. I love you Oprah!

Celebrity Obsession: Kat Graham

My current celebrity obsession is singer/actress Kat Graham. She exploded onto the scene in 2009 as Bonnie Bennett in the CW hit show The Vampire Diaries, which I also have a serious obsession with, but she's been acting and performing since she was 8 years old. (I just found out that she was in The Parent Trap. Great movie.) Although I love her for her acting and music (check out "Sassy" and "I Want It All"), I especially love her for her fashion sense. Girl is fierce. She is bold and different and her style is insanely awesome. Kat Graham is fearless when it comes to fashion. 

Secrets From A Stylist

Whenever I turn on the television, HGTV is one of the first channels I flip to. I have a serious love for interior design shows thanks to my mother. Secrets From a Stylist is my new obsession. Emily Henderson is a prop stylist and won season 5 of Design Star on HGTV. During the show she customizes a room layer by layer to help homeowners realize their personal style. She designs the room two to three times in order to reach the end result, which is why I love it so much. The end result is the best part of a design show and in Secrets of a Stylist you get to see three! (Side Note: I love the color on these walls. It's Benjamin Moore's Vintage Charm.)
